Upcycled Flannel Shirt inspired by Alanis Morisette

We upcycled this size large flannel shirt with a quote from Alanis Morisette along with peace roses embroidered inside a tulle see-through heart-shaped cut-out.
We fitted the front with added seams to pull in the waist, changing it from a men's shirt to a women's fitted shirt, making it a more flattering cut.
We used vintage black cotton lace sewn into the sleeves to give the arms a see-through nod, without being fully open.
This shirt is a light to medium weight flannel and with the lace cut-outs in the sleeves and mostly open back can be worn year-round.
You can pair it with black ripped and lace jeans and black shoes. Pictured are Karl Lagerfeld tennis shoes and a pair of Levi jearns I altered.
